I work with the Springfield school system in their rocket program. The instructor contacted me about another program called the Buildaplane at buildaplane.org. This appears to be a group that receives donations to introduce students to aviation.
This instructor was offered a free Piper Colt located in Ohio to be used in this type of program. Perhaps 582 would be interested should this group be willing to offer it to us. It could be used as a training building aid and when complete either sold to generate funds for another training project or sold to the Piet Club for upgrade training since a Chapter cannot have a flying group.
