EAA Chapter 582
Monthly membership meeting this Thursday September 29th at our own EAA Chapter 582 Hanger in the Tom Walsh Library.
Featuring Pulled BBQ Pork Sandwiches
Meeting at 7:00 p.m. with our own 582 Member Dr. Gary Swann who will give us an update on the work being done by the FAA to enact the Medical Reform Law.
Dr. Swann says there is a lot to learn about this and you need to know nothing has changed "yet" but changes will be coming and he has valuable insight on this process for all of us.
FAA has one year to develop and enact rules that align with the reforms. Pilots will not be allowed to fly under the reforms until the FAA has completed its rulemaking or the one-year time limit has elapsed, whichever comes first.
Remember today you still need a MEDICAL EXAM.
