Topic: NextGen and ADS-B

Description:

This event will acquaint attendees with the Next Generation Air Traffic Control system (NextGen)and provide requirements for on-board aircraft equipment (i.e., ADS-B). An overview of hardware and software is presented together with operational theory. Benefits of the NextGen system are discussed, particulary in the General Aviation context.
