    Hi All,

I am going on Wed. the 24th early morning.

    I am going by Minivan

I am staying at camp Schoeller

I am returning Sunday morning as soon as the tent is dry enough to pack (assuming no rain)

I have up to 2 seats available.

    Did anyone reserve campsites?

    Steve

Reminder: Anyone can feel free to join us at the Chapter 582 camping.  We have 4 sites for the whole week. You can stay for a day or more.  We should be able to host multiple campers per site.  We'll ask for a donation of $62 to offset the cost.  A campsite from EAA general camping is 3 day minimum or $94

I'll post when I know where our site is. We should have a pretty good location.

Myself and Todd Shaw are leaving 6/20 (weather permitting) flying the Pietenpol, staying in chapter camping returning ~6/27.  Billy Elvey will be following us in an motorhome (or rather, we will be following him). Departing 6 to 7am.  Should take 10 to 14 hours.

This year, Airventure is celebrating 90 year anniversary of the Pietenpol

I am right now planning to leave Sunday the 21st and staying until the 28th, tent camping at the chapter site.  Just me in my crew cab pick-up so I have plenty of room for supplies/riders.  However, that may change.  I put a deposit on an RV-8A yesterday!  I am planning to pick it up Friday and still haven't decided if I'll fly it to OSH or not.

I flew my Stemme S12 there yesterday, Monday Jul 16 to beat the weather.  It will be in the Stemme booth, east of the Piper booth, stop by and say Hi after Wednesday the 24th.  I returned via American to ORD then rented a car to arrive home at 0400 today Tuesday thanks to a maintenance issue with the Appleton to ORD airplane.  Good news is aircraft break so aircraft mechanics have a job.  I'll return there Wednesday Apr 24 and will fly the Stemme home Monday the 29th weather permitting.  Staying with the Stemme USA folks in a house so I'll wave as they drive by the tents.

See my iPad shots crossing the lake.  Notice the glide circle especially the one further out at 10,500 ft.

I am going with two other. Driving up on Saturday 6/20. We are volunteers at Oshkosh, we do not have room in our vehicle for anyone else. We will be leaving the 28th to head home. Looking forward to seeing everyone there. Safe travels everyone.

    Hey Glen,

It looks like I will be able to take GN to OSH next week. Any chance there is room in your support vehicle for my gear?

    thanks,

    Steve
