    Congratulations on your air worthiness certificate.  I would love to be present for your test flight(s).  If you don't mind, post a reply here or contact me directly (see the Member Directory) when you plan on testing.  I would be really interested in seeing how that process works.

    Thanks Glenn, it is a great feeling to have that milestone out of the way. When I sent the invite for people to come watch the inspection I thought about saying come to this one cause you won't be invited to the next, but I didn't. From what I have been told is is generally considered best to have only the necessary people present for the initial test flight. You want to keep the distractions and pressure to a minimum.


    If you are interested in reading up on the process, AC90-89B is an advisory circular the FAA publishes that details the process.

    Understood.  Makes sense.  I'm sure I'll see it in the air on subsequent flights!  Thanks for the reference to the AC.  I'll read it.
